As an International Senior Advisor, Hector Ledesma specializes in international growth and market entry strategies for iFranchise Group’s clients outside of the United States.
With over 18 years of experience in international business, trade, licensing, and franchising in Asia, Europe and Latin America, Mr. Ledesma provides a competitive advantage for franchise systems looking to expand into emerging international markets. He is also a former franchisee, which provides a unique perspective for clients. In addition to his work at the iFranchise Group, Mr. Ledesma is also an international investment consultant for a leading middle market private equity firm with investments of over $2 billion around the world.
Mr. Ledesma has demonstrated franchising experience through his consulting work, most recently by developing business growth strategies and demand-chain optimization for Dunn Brothers Coffee, among other franchise brands.
Mr. Ledesma also successfully founded and owned businesses in Asia, Latin America and the U.S. in the publishing, beauty, clothing, education, c-store and electronics industries. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Mr. Ledesma served in various operations roles at 7-Eleven. Mr. Ledesma’s experience also includes various speaking engagements at chambers of commerce across Latin America, as well as involvement in numerous international trade organizations.
Mr. Ledesma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and obtained his Master of Business Administration degree in Global Management and Entrepreneurship from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Mr. Ledesma also studied Franchise Management at Georgetown University and received his CFE (Certified Franchise Executive) designation from the International Franchise Association.
