Charafeddine has decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having served as a member of the opening team for the Rotana Hotel Management company and for the Beach Hotel Rotana in Abu Dhabi. He has served as general manager of the Sheraton Coral Beach Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon; as business development director of the Swiss Hotel Association in South East Asia and the Middle East; and has structured standard reporting to the Malaysian Association of Hotel Owners. Charafeddine opened the renowned Grand Hills Village Hotel & SPA in Lebanon and has conducted numerous feasibility studies for different properties ranging from 3 to 5 Star Hotel properties. He also initiated the signing of a management agreement with the Rezidor Group to flag the Grand Hills Resort & Spa to be the first REGENT hotel in the Middle East.

As a founding partner at HCS Hospitality Concepts and Solutions, Charafeddine has acted as the master franchisee or franchisor in the MENA region for brands including Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels, Outback Steakhouse, BiCE, Entrecôte Café de Paris, Chocolate Bar, Café Ceramique, and others. And, as the master licensee for King-Casey in MENA, Charafeddine is able to tap extensive expertise in the areas of restaurant design and development, with a client list that includes A&W, Al Baik, Al Nukaly, Arby’s, Boston Market, Culver’s, Denny’s, Dip n’ Crunch, Dunkin’ Donuts, KFC, Pizza Hut, Yoshinoya, and many others. Charafeddine holds a Hotel Management Diploma, Bachelor of Business Administration from Les Roches Switzerland, and has attended Executive Development Programs and General Managers Programs at Cornell University.
